Logistics and tourism services will continue to be the main drivers of growth in Laos, with GDP forecast to grow moderately by 3.9 percent in 2025 and 4.0 percent in 2026, amid macroeconomic challenges, according to the latest report from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) forecasts that economic expansion in developing Asia will accelerate to 6 per cent in 2017 as stronger-than-expected exports and domestic consumption fuel growth.
